Who doesn't want to, right?! In these chaotic times, we live in. "You are what you eat," they say; I would like to add to that phrase: We also are what we consume on the TV, news,(the negative ones) social media feed, light, energy, chemicals, toxins, air, etc... All that either benefits or detriments to our wellbeing and health, it isn't just the food on our plate that is responsible for it.
The mind never stops processing information; the brain is exhausted and working more than ever in human history. We are constantly bombarded with dark, gloomy, and sad headlines everywhere we turn. Even when we try to put our phones away or turn off the TV, it seems our mind keeps going on and on even when we try to fall asleep. Ok! without further ado, I'm sharing with you something that works for me, and I know for a fact that it really works for everyone willing to have a restful mind and even better sleep.
JOURNALING: Journaling It's simply writing down whatever is in your mind. For ages, it has existed with different names, even Freud the founder of psychoanalysis used to treat some of his patients by correspondence, which means writing down, your feelings, emotions, and, ideas it doesn't matter your grammar or the spelling that's the last thing we should care about the main point is to put in order what is bugging you and having a better understanding, a more precise way to show what's on your mind. Our minds will begin to have a better sense of clarity and calmness. Try to adopt this habit but don't pressure yourself; start small don't see it as "another task on your to-do list." Instead of having it as a helpful tool for your daily life, my suggestion for this healthy habit is to practice it either early morning or just before you go to bed, whichever suits you better. My personal choice is early in the morning so I can start my day with a fresh mind and brain, and I have journals in every corner of my house lol so I can remember; sometimes I think to myself, girl! You better start burning those things up, LOL! In the end, whatever you want to do with that piece of paper is totally up to you; my humble suggestion is to burn it, girl, just burn it! 🤣😅.
Since this is my first post on my blog, I want to keep it simple and short; I think for the rest of my posts as well, I am aiming to keep them under two minutes reading, if you like this post and you want to know more and have more tips please let me know, I am also now accepting bookings for my programs that you can easily book on www.amwellnesscenter.com/book-online right now I am having the first consultation (45 minutes) for free, in that session we can discuss my approach as Integrative Nutrition Health|Wellness Coach and the programs I work with and how I can help you to reach your goals in nutrition and in life.
Also, I would love to have your feedback in the comment box below, let know what topic you are interested in, for my next post, nutrition, maybe a yummy and nutritious recipe, or even better women's life and health in the late 30's and over 40's 😉. (Please only good vibes here).
